Natural stone needs to be sealed at installation and resealed every 1-3 years - we'll give you the schedule for your specific stone. We use premium impregnating sealers that block out moisture and oils without changing the stone's color or finish, which matters in a climate this humid.
Stone can also be re-honed or re-polished if it ever scratches or dulls. We're one of the few shops in Charleston, SC that offers on-site stone restoration, so your floor can last the life of the house. If you'd rather skip the maintenance schedule altogether, ask us about porcelain tile in a stone-look finish.
